Project Learning

Project Learning has been regarded as an effective learning strategy, which ‘helps students incorporate knowledge, skills, values and attitudes together.  During the process of collecting and summarizing information and ideas, students can acquire a great deal of knowledge by digesting all relevant materials. This will definitely provide with students greater learning benefits.’

We have adopted a number of measures to promote project learning, namely:

  • Teaching project learning-related skills by the integration of project learning and current affairs
  • Assessing project learning as a formal curriculum for all the students, under which every student has to complete a specified amount of projects and present the findings during the Project Presentation Day
  • Creating more opportunities for further practice by encouraging all academic domains to adopt homework in the form of project
  • Presenting good student work by oral presentation and website
  • Taking an active role in various inter-school project learning related activities
